Terms & Conditions
Terms for using Fraime.it.
These terms apply to the Fraime.it website, macOS app, and related purchase and account flows.
Effective March 31, 2026.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Fraime.it website, macOS application, billing flows, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Raphaël Terrier, auto-entrepreneur, SIRET 49027985800057, based in France (“we”, “us”, or “Fraime.it”).
By accessing or using Fraime.it, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Fraime.it.
You may only use Fraime.it if you are at least 16 years of age and can form a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you.
2. What Fraime.it provides
Fraime.it is a native macOS recording and editing product for creating polished screen-based tutorials, demos, and walkthroughs. Features may evolve over time, and we may add, remove, or modify functionality as the product develops.
Most recording, project, and export workflows run locally on your device. Certain features such as licensing, billing, downloads, analytics, restore flows, and AI-assisted editing rely on connected third-party or server-side services.
3. Eligibility, software license, and access responsibilities
Subject to these Terms and any paid plan or trial limits that apply, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Fraime.it app and related services for your own personal or internal business use. Fraime.it is licensed, not sold.
You are responsible for using Fraime.it only for lawful purposes and for ensuring that any information you provide is accurate and up to date. If Fraime.it provides you with license keys, access links, or similar credentials, you are responsible for safeguarding them and for any activity that occurs through your use of those credentials.
You must notify us promptly at contact@fraime.it if you become aware of unauthorized use of your license key or other access credentials.
4. Trial, pricing, and subscriptions
Fraime.it may offer a free usage tier or trial experience, including limits on certain features such as clean exports before a paid upgrade is required. Free access, trial limits, plan pricing, and feature availability may change at any time.
Paid plans are presented on the website at the time of purchase. By starting a paid plan, you agree to the pricing, billing cadence, and renewal terms shown during checkout.
5. Billing through Lemon Squeezy
Fraime.it uses Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy, LLC) as its merchant of record for checkout, subscription management, tax handling, and related billing operations. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's applicable terms. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Lemon Squeezy's terms on billing matters, Lemon Squeezy's terms govern the billing relationship.
If you purchase a subscription, it will renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the current billing period through the billing portal or customer portal link provided in your purchase confirmation email.
6. Refunds and cancellation
If you are unsatisfied with a purchase, you may request a refund within 14 days of the original transaction by contacting us at contact@fraime.it. Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy and returned to the original payment method.
For EU consumers: you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. If you have expressly consented to the immediate supply of digital content and acknowledged the loss of withdrawal right during checkout, that withdrawal right may not apply.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access until that date. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period unless required by applicable law.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Fraime.it, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, circumvent technical or licensing restrictions, reverse engineer the Service except to the extent applicable law permits, or use Fraime.it to violate the rights of others.
You are responsible for the content you record, edit, upload, export, or distribute using Fraime.it, including ensuring that you have all necessary rights, permissions, and consents for any screen content, audio, webcam footage, personal data, or third-party materials that appear in your work.
8. Your content
You retain full ownership of any content you create, record, or edit using Fraime.it.
Because Fraime.it is primarily a local software product, we generally do not need or receive your raw recordings or exported videos to provide standard recording and export workflows. If you choose to use connected features that require us to process your content or inputs, such as support requests, AI-assisted editing, licensing-related flows, or other hosted features, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display that material solely as necessary to provide the requested feature and operate the Service.
We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use your content for marketing or to train our own models without your explicit consent.
9. Intellectual property
Fraime.it and all related branding, software, design, and content provided by us remain our property or the property of our licensors. Except for the limited license expressly granted in these Terms, no ownership rights are transferred to you.
You may not copy, resell, sublicense, distribute, or make Fraime.it available to third parties except as expressly permitted by applicable law or with our written permission.
10. Privacy
Your use of Fraime.it is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data. The Privacy Policy is available at fraime.it/privacy and forms part of these Terms.
11. AI features
Fraime.it may offer optional AI-assisted features. When you use them, your prompt, related conversation history, and limited project or timeline context may be transmitted to our servers and to third-party model providers to generate a response.
AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your intended purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-generated suggestions, edits, or text before relying on them in production, publication, legal, commercial, or other important contexts.
You should not submit sensitive personal data, confidential information, or material you are not authorized to share through AI features unless you are comfortable with the processing described in our Privacy Policy and any applicable third-party terms.
12. Product changes and availability
We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of Fraime.it at any time, including features, integrations, pricing, free limits, or access methods.
We do not guarantee that Fraime.it will be available at all times, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
13. Disclaimers
Fraime.it is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty or right that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protection rights in the European Union.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fraime.it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of Fraime.it.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to Fraime.it will not exceed the amount you paid to Fraime.it for the relevant service during the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any matter where liability cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Fraime.it if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for other users, exposed us to legal liability, or misused the product. Where practicable, we will provide notice before or at the time of suspension.
You may stop using Fraime.it at any time. Termination will not affect any rights or obligations that accrued before termination.
Upon termination, any licenses granted to you under these Terms will cease immediately. We may retain or delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If you wish to export your content before termination, you may do so through the features available in the application.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the effective date on this page and, where practicable, by email or in-app notice before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of Fraime.it after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using Fraime.it before the new Terms take effect.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence. You may also bring proceedings in the courts of the EU Member State in which you are domiciled.
18. General provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Fraime.it with respect to the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
